In Alice in Wonderland, Alice encounters a cake with “eat me” written on it, which makes her grow larger and a bottle with “drink me” written on it which makes her shrink. This is quite an open theme, so you could take a photo of something larger than life, or smaller than usual (Father Ted may be useful here: “Now Dougal, these are small, those are far away”). Perhaps even bake a cake, or interpret the theme your own way.

The key point of this Challenge is to capture action and motion (so no sports memorabilia – sorry!).

• If you have a digital SLR camera, use shutter priority mode and crank it down to a fast shutter speed to freeze the action.
• If you have a point & shoot camera, look in the menu and there will probably be a sports mode. This has the effect of making the shutter speed fast and snappy so you can freeze fast-moving subjects.
