Photo Challenge

Abstract gradient

Thanks to everyone who experimented with abstract photography of gradients from light to dark. Here are this week’s entries.

Challenge Admin, I enjoy taking photos mostly of landscapes and architecture - but I will try anything! I mostly shoot film and I spend a lot of time in my darkroom trying to get the perfect print. I'm a sysadmin for a living and I also enjoy cycling and music technology.

  1. 2 standouts this week Dino’s for it’s subdued gradient and jens for the opposite. Is there something going down in Oz.

  2. Unusual mix this week, Dave your vector lines remind me of a windows 98 screensaver I once used. Jen’s a warming psychedelic screentest. But my favourite is Ally’s as seems almost ‘live’ and I keep looking at it trying to work out what it is.

Kirsty if you have any of that cake left I would love a piece to go with my cuppa!

  3. Dino it’s part of an art exhibition. Navid Nurr. It’s a light tube filled with broken glass against a blue black background. Don’t ask me what it means

  4. There is always something going on down here. The Abstract gradient photo is a photo of a photo of a photo. I agree with Dinos Ally there is something about your photo every time I look at it I feel cold and shiver. It has a cold in space feel to it. Well done Grandpa Ally and congratulations on your new Grandbaby she looks beautiful.

  5. thanks Jen, have mailed you.
