Photo Challenge

Contrast and focus

This week the challenge was suggested by Ollie B, which he says was inspired by looking at Carole’s christmas present.

Take a photo where the focus is an area of high contrast, or just one with a really strong focus that holds the eye? That’d mean a lot of thinking before taking the picture… could that work?

So there you have it. Any challenge that promotes thinking before pressing the button can’t be far wrong!

Please send your entries in by noon on Tuesday 19th March. Good luck!

Challenge Admin, I enjoy taking photos mostly of landscapes and architecture - but I will try anything! I mostly shoot film and I spend a lot of time in my darkroom trying to get the perfect print. I'm a sysadmin for a living and I also enjoy cycling and music technology.

  5. Awww I feel honoured the challenge was thought of after looking at one of my pics! This was a challenging one for the brain when my Christmas present shot was a 30 second thinker! ;)

Anyways, here is my entry for this week http://www.flickr.com/photos/carolestevens/8564479589/in/photostream

I think we can all agree that I’ve come down very heavily on the side of contrast with this one!
