Paul’s is stunning! The attention to detail is amazing – even the shadows! This challenge showed to me how little of my life before digital cameras I have available… One candidate for a photo came to mind, my mum put one of me breastfeeding on Facebook a few years ago in an attempt to embarrass me. The idea of the thought of recreating that one is, frankly, more than I can bear.

A huge “well done” to everyone who took part this week, this was certainly a tricky one to get organised for (you would not believe how long it took me to find a source of spray on temporary hair colour and a denim jacket!)
All in all, mine was about 3 weeks of prep and 10 minutes of shooting – so well done Carole, Kirsty and Jess!

They are all great! Love all the little details! The fact Kirsty still has that bean bag made me lol and that Paul could use the same front porch is lovely but then you are still young!! Paul just has the edge here! I must try harder to join in again this year!!

Paul’s is incredible! didn’t have the time/resources to do this challenge, but I will definitely get my butt in gear for this weeks!

Great job everyone that entered. This was a challenging one. Took me forever to pin my long hair up to look short and I don’t dye my hair, but it has darkened quite a bit over the years. Lighting had to be adjusted several times and I had trouble getting the angles just right, wish I had more time to perfect it.
I love the clear past and present feel with Carole’s shots and I also loved that Kirsty had the same beanbag and VHS
Paul definitely takes the cake, he took so much care with the detail and it shows! Fantastic job Paul!

All amazing! I love the way that each entrant has tried to redeliver the essence of the original shot.

Paul gets my internet points… the milk bottles swung it!

Very nice everyone! Since I don’t even live in the same country, it was too hard for me to try something. Also no pictures of my childhood nearby XD
Paul’s picture is particulary stunning, exact same location!? Wow! Something I can’t imagine doing.
I’m already working on the new challenge, something I can work on, great

@Stu – I’m glad someone noticed the effort I put in to making sure the milk bottles were in the right places

Paul – your photo is fab. Really impressed with the amount of effort you put into it – right down to them milk bottles!
