Photo Challenge

The London 2012 Olympics are in full swing, so we are capitalising on that (although not enough to get us in trouble!). The theme is sport.

Ideally we want action pictures of people playing sport, but if that proves too challenging you can take pictures of sports equipment or memorabilia too. Try for the action photography though – the Photo Challenge is supposed to be a challenge and we like to encourage people to try new things.

Please send your sporting entries in before full time at midday on Tuesday 7th August.

Challenge Admin, I enjoy taking photos mostly of landscapes and architecture - but I will try anything! I mostly shoot film and I spend a lot of time in my darkroom trying to get the perfect print. I'm a sysadmin for a living and I also enjoy cycling and music technology.

    you should have done this last week- i have horse gymnastic photos and jousting from the puy du fou from monday and equitation from the cadre noir from friday!!! :0

    Been struggling to find time to snap away lately as i’m in London working at the Olympics. Grr i’m so close to all the action but so far away! I took loads of photo’s of the sun setting on the Olympic Stadium from where I am staying. My challenge this was was trying to get that to work.

    I love Kirsty’s picture so far this week :o )

    really struggled to get action shot of sport, especially as our camera broke mid week. So this is all I have. :/
