(not to be confused with six feet under!)
This week, you need to find a vantage point that places you and your camera 20 feet above your chosen subject. That’s 6 metres for our metrically-inclined readers, or about three storeys of a building. Try to find interesting subjects and vantage points.
Please send your entries in by noon on Tuesday 19th June.

This is going to be challenging… I don’t know of anywhere that’s easily accessible where I could do this!

I spent half an hour yesterday wandering around a multistorey carpark and got loads of inspiration – so if you live anywhere near a carpark give that a go.
Other ideas include stairwells, balconies, looking out of windows in moderately tall buildings, bridges over rivers/roads/railways. Live near a cliff? Are there any public monuments near you that you can go up? When Stu ran a similar challenge back in 2009 I went to a local shopping centre which had a balcony overlooking their escalators, got a really nice abstract composition out of it.
I doubt anyone is going to be working out exactly how far off the ground you are so don’t take the “20 feet” measurement too literally.
Have you got a reasonably light compact camera and a long pole?
It would be fairly easy to rig up a simple way to attach the camera to one end of the pole and do something similar to this http://makeprojects.com/Project/Pole-Mounted-Aerial-Photography-Rig/815/1#.T9hqvkiBfng
That rig is a little overcomplicated for a single use thing, but I’m sure you could come up with something involving wrapping cardboard around the camera and gaffa taping it to the end of a tent pole. Set the self timer and you’re good to go!

Not sure if this was quite 20 feet.
