This week’s Challenge was suggested by Katey. I think it fits well with our recent drive to have not just themes, but techniques and challenges.
Submit pictures suitable to have the caption “Into the light”. As it’s springtime, it should be easy enough to get some light, but if not, a lamp should suffice.
Everyone can be as creative as possible, as per normal, so don’t just make it a glare of light. (Large editing possibilities!!)
Please send your entries in by noon on Tuesday 17th April. Good luck!

I haven’t even started to think about this one (I don’t know where the week has gone to be honest!) but for the benefit of @Capiro here are some ideas off the top of my head:
Plants grow towards the light, it’s springtime and there’s a lot of new growth around so I could pop into the garden and see what I can find which is growing “into the light”
Pointing your camera towards a light source (a sunset, a street lamp, a torch etc) will create a silhouette of anything between the camera and the light. Sunset/Sunrise are great times of day for photography, but night time in an alley or a coridor with a torch might be fun for some long exposures and light painting?
“Into the Light” is also a phrase that gets used as a description of near death experiences, so there might be some ideas to be had around that?
Thinking back to the streetlight idea. Streetlamps can create pools of light on the floor. What (or who!) could you put in that pool of light?
I’m not any closer to working out what I’ll be shooting, but it feels like there are some ideas beginning to form.

For those who are interested, Ive also wrote a little “story” how I got to this result. But for reading that, you have to get to my blog. Because, as we al know, Jonathan only shows the pictures.
@Jonathan: Maybe it’s obvious but could you post my edited version? (I have posted the original and edited image in the post Ive linked to above)

Had a few cool ideas this week, but unfortunately I haven’t had time to try them. I had resided my self to accepting the inevitable, but then Jonathan told me off so I just took photos of whatever I thought relevant… http://flic.kr/p/bN7ra4
