This week’s theme was suggested by Jay. It was inspired by the website Entrances to Hell. Jay had this to add:
A bit silly but have a look at http://www.entrances2hell.co.uk/index.html – a nicely developed theme, albeit a bit abstruse!
In short, your Challenge is to go out and find something that looks like it might be an entrance to hell (but we will also accept portals to other dimensions, wormholes to parallel universes, and other such gateways).
Failing that, some kind of door ought to fit the bill.
Many of the entrances to hell on the website come with a few words to describe and explain the entrance. If you’d like to write a blurb to go with your photo, I’ll publish it with the results.
Please send your photos in by noon on Tuesday 12th July. Have fun!

I think I know just the place… now, can I a) get a pic of it, and b) make it look good…
I suggested it, so I thought I’d better have a go. The Devil’s breeze, blocked.
Apologies for not taking part recently. I’ve been keeping an eye on proceedings but just haven’t found the time or motivation. But I’ll be back …
If found this gate and as i waited for the sun to go down a bit, someone stopped there car, and the brake light gave off the reddish glow to the front of the Gateway to Hell

YERMO
Presumed to be entirely mythical, this unique circular entrance to the underworld was discovered in 2011 during excavations of a Cthullu burial site at the base of the Black Hill. The purpose of the smaller opening is not known, though scholars have suggested that it may serve as both entrance and exit for the Four Serpents of the Apocalypse. Experts are unwilling to speculate on the partially opened main entrance, and, as of this writing, no exploratory expeditions are planned.
Here you go, my first challenge
A simple step of stairs, but when I walked down in to the dark, last night, it was feeling creepy, warm and dark. Like I was entering some sort of hell. I wasnt feeling save in anyway and police gathered around the station, young people were causing trouble.
