This week’s Challenge is a still life project, as suggested by Hannah. It also seems a good idea since the weather isn’t likely to be great this week
Your brief is to use fruit and vegetables to set up a still life scene. The details of the scene itself (indoor, outdoor, with or [...]
Yes! My plan worked, and this week we have a bumper haul of entries I’ve laid the results out slightly differently, to make room for the blurbs. There’s a fantastic assortment of different styles of photography and I think everyone should be proud of their work.
I now invite everyone to wander around our [...]
When the Photo Challenge was back on Stu’s blog, I think we had an “introduce yourself” post. Quite a few people have joined the Challenge since then, so I think it would be a good idea for us to do it again.
It doesn’t matter if you’re not a regular contributor – add a [...]
This week’s Challenge, as suggested by Andy Gazeley, is to pick out your favourite photo that you’ve ever taken.
Go through your archives and choose the shot that appeals to you most. Of course, everyone will have their own reasons for liking a photo – perhaps it’s the way it looks, or that it [...]

Well done to this week’s five film fanatics (film taken in the wider sense of the word). There’s some really nice variety this week, so keep it up

This week’s Challenge is the theme of film. You can interpret this however you like – cinema, camera film, a film of oil, etc. No doubt you’ll find plenty of other meanings.
Good luck, and please get your entries in by noon on Tuesday 14th September.
What a variety of entries this week! A fascinating mixture of food, drink and of course the Alice in Wonderland references to very large or very small things.
Well done and thanks to all who contributed.
Edit: I’ve just added Andy Gazeley’s picture. I didn’t receive the email, but he assures me it was [...]
