This week’s Challenge is sport and action.
Try to find a local sporting event (of any description) and capture it on your camera. If there’s no sport near you or you otherwise can’t take pictures of it, have a go at an action photo – perhaps a moving animal or vehicle.
The key point of this Challenge is to capture action and motion (so no sports memorabilia – sorry!).
- If you have a digital SLR camera, use shutter priority mode and crank it down to a fast shutter speed to freeze the action.
- If you have a point & shoot camera, look in the menu and there will probably be a sports mode. This has the effect of making the shutter speed fast and snappy so you can freeze fast-moving subjects.
Please send your entries in by noon on Tuesday 31st August. Good luck!
