The last few Challenges have been themes rather than challenges in that the instructions related to the subject of your photo, not the method of taking it. This week there is no restriction on what you can point your camera at, although Paul has suggested an exercise which explains how to use a box [...] Well done to everyone who entered this rather dangerous Challenge! I think Fire would be an interesting theme for a challenge as there can be so many different interpretations of the word and therefore subject matter. So there you have it. Since the Photo Challenge moved to its new home, we haven’t yet had a colour theme. So here’s our first one. Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to take a photo somehow related to the colour blue. Entries in by noon on Tuesday 16th February, please. Great work from everyone this week on the theme of communication. There were nine entries – it’s good to see so many photos. Let’s try for double figures next week. I think we covered most of the bases of old-fashioned communication – the only “modern” entry being mine, and that was mainly to [...] Thanks to Nigel for providing this week’s guest Challenge. Communication – self-explanatory, I guess: telephone, e-mail, internet, TV, radio, perhaps even physical communication in terms of transport.
