So, who are the people in each photo, and what is their significance?
My portrait is of my girlfriend Hannah, who is not a fan of being photographed but usually patient when I’m messing about with flashes
It’s my mother-in-law, Mary, who stayed with us for a few days before returning to Manchester on Sunday. She loves doing crosswords and was puzzling and eating toast for breakfast at the same time on Saturday morning! I took the picture quite by chance with the challenge in mind; I wonder whether I should tell her she’s on the internet!!
Mine were some clients I shot at the weekend – a really fun bunch of people, and a clearly loving family group. I’d been worrying a little in advance, because I knew they wouldn’t fit the ‘standard’ set of poses I’ve learnt to go through – so there was a lot more thinking on my feet. They brought their own ideas into the mix too.
m yapologies for not entering this week, rest assured that im already planning my ‘Christmas’ Photo!
Mine was of a former gentleman highways manager who jumped off a railway viaduct a couple of years ago. I always stand by his stone on Torquay seafront and think of him and his pointless end of life crisis.
Mel’s is of people on a train
